Who maintains this site
I built Best VPS Match because I was tired of VPS comparison sites that rank whoever pays the highest affiliate commission. Every major comparison site in this space has strong financial incentives to push you toward whichever provider gives them 30–50% recurring commission — regardless of fit. I wanted a site that just scores providers honestly on what matters and tells you who's right for which use case.
What this site is
Best VPS Match scores 16 VPS providers across 8 weighted factors using publicly available, independently verifiable data. Scores are editorial — based on provider documentation, published SLAs, and independent benchmark reports — not first-person lab tests. The methodology page documents every factor, its weight, and what data sources we use.
What this site is not
- Not a hosting review forum (no user reviews)
- Not a lab benchmark site (we don't run our own speed tests)
- Not an affiliate marketing operation (no income at launch)
- Not a company (solo project, no legal entity as of 2026)
Revenue model
At launch: none. The site is built to be ready for affiliate partnerships — the architecture supports it — but no programmes are active. When affiliate links are live, they will be disclosed on every page, on the ethics page, and in the site footer. The scoring system will not change based on commercial relationships.
Corrections and updates
If you spot a pricing error, a broken source link, or a score that looks wrong given publicly available data — please use the contact page. We verify and update records periodically, but provider pricing and features change frequently. The dataLastVerified date on the homepage reflects the last full data review.
